Why Did We Create Momo Learns Korean
Hi! I’m Peipei, the creator of Momo Learns Korean!
Let’s meet our wonderful team!
Peipei Zhou
Creator of Momo Learns Korean, Lulu Learns French, Astro Learns English, Coco Learns Spanish, Bao Bao Learns Chinese & Tin Tin Learns Tagalog
Born & raised in Shanghai and currently living in Brooklyn, NY. A proud mom to a sweet little boy, who loves sushi and wants to be a train engineer when he grows up.
She started the Baby Learns Language business to help her son learn Mandarin. And it’s evolved into helping children everywhere learn languages through songs & music.
Cate Kyung Kim
Author and creator of Momo Learns Korean, a Korean kids’ singing book made for families in the U.S.
Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, I spent many years as an English teacher and hosted educational TV programs back home. These days, I live in Brooklyn, NY with my husband, our two kids, and our very calm (and slightly spoiled) dog. I also teach Korean language and culture at Brooklyn Korean School.
A fun secret about me? I once dreamed of becoming a singer — and that childhood dream helped inspire this book.
Kseniia Shtereb
A Ukrainian book illustrator, who brings stories to life with a touch of magic.
With a deep love for drawing, nature, animals and life. Kseniia creates whimsical children's illustrations that invite young readers to embark on an unforgettable journey.
Ellina Smoyan
Main designer and illustrator for the Astro Learns English series. Born in Moscow, raised in Krasnodar, moved to Armenia for love.
A creator of exceptionally cute illustrations. An artist who can’t live a day without drawing something.
Finds the beauty in all things, especially her husband.
Molly Magnell
Illustrator, designer and media creator. New Yorker by zip code, Bostonian by heart.
She’s designed beautiful graphics for the American Museum of Natural History, Madison Square Garden, Adobe, New York Times, NPR, and the Washington Post.
Proud mom to a cat, who likes nibbling on ankles.
